Geez, you'd think I was going off on a 6 month trip the way I'm getting everything in order here. My 1/2 hour surgery is Tuesday and I'll be chipper, up and about a day later so I could really chill out if I wanted to but no. Gotta fuss and file and get rid of stuff and pay bills.
Guess what!? I'm going to New York on the 25th, a mere 19 days away. Not only is it a busy season for Mark and Jenna (now they're busy not only for Christmas and Mom's day, but now wedding time, too) but I desperately need a Mia and Claudine fix. Friday I went to a friend's house to have a nice afternoon of making ourselves fresh rolls and I ended up playing with her adorable 4-month old, Tavia. Wow, what fun. You'd think that would have sated me, but it did the opposite. I came home, re-read Mark and Jenna's blog about how busy they're going to be, and decided maybe they HAD to have me there. They both agreed I might be helpful....that's all I needed to hear.
Oh, and I had a pleasant surprise on the JetBlue site...I got air fares unlike any since their inception. Very inexpensive.
