Dan-isms

I have a new tag for Lani's Place. It's called Dan-ism's. He comes up with the funniest twists for old sayings. I recently tried keeping track of them but can't remember where they are, so thought I'd just put him on here. Here's one from yesterday.

We were talking about a movie we'd just seen, Friends With Money. OMG, there was way too much swearing and disgusting bachelor behavior. Neither of us are prudes, by any means, but this was just overdone. So while Dan was going on about their behavior yesterday...I was wondering to myself: what was HE like when he was in bachelor quarters in Panama? After all, they called themselves Scum Row so it couldn't have been very pretty. He said, well, yeah I guess we were like that. BUT.... And here it is: "WHEN I WAS WITH WOMEN, I KNEW ENOUGH TO PUT MY BEST FACE FORWARD. Get it? Foot...face???

FOOTNOTE-ERRATA: He actually didn't say it quite like that, my bad. He said "I knew enough to put my best foot on." I have a feeling most of this is in the category of "You hadda be there."
