The last rose of summer

Isn't this so pretty? Here we are, definitely beginning the cooler weather but this rose bush didn't care. It said, "I'm going to keep giving out summer beauty." Never say die. Never give up, and all that. So wise and courageous.

I'm so excited about my photography workshop coming up soon. Vicky and I leave Friday morning for Halifax. The next day our teacher, Julie Eggers, picks us up at the airport (yes, it's going to be a long trip!). We will spend a couple days each in Lunenberg, Shelburne, and Peggy's Cove. Wow. I can't help but get a few good pictures, no matter how expert I may or may not be. It's going to be so exciting.

Alrighty....now I'm off to pack! Really. I'm really going to pack this time.
