Politics, anyone?

Although I'm not the most articulate speaker on political issues, I feel my judgment is good. Candidates I like must have integrity and compassion, be intelligent and community-oriented. Any candidate who looks like he/she will take the country farther down our economic and foreign relations ruins is promising a weak country. Read Screwed: The Undeclared War Against the Middle Class - And What We Can Do about It, by Thom Hartman.

I heard someone say Obama has no substance. Is that just an easy way to say he doesn't believe what you do? Or are we falling victim to the addicting sensational ads, which he does not subscribe to? However, even if he didn't have substance, he is intelligent and listens to people of all philosophies. Does that not matter? We have too many politicians who listen to cronies only, gone is the democracy we thought we had.

Oh, and do please notice that even Karl Rove has been quoted as saying that McCain has gone too far with his lies. Does that not mean anything???

Click for an ABC article on McCain's lobbying muscle.

Thanks for listening. And don't forget to vote, no matter who you support, I want everyone in the country to vote!
