OK, it's over and I have to confess that I'm exhausted! In fact, I even caught a cold. Whyyyy? I purposely time my trips there so that I'll be helpful when Mark's business is busy, but someday I'm going to have to observe my limits. Little children have a lot of energy.
OK, enough about a crappy immune system. The VERY best thing that happened on the way home (other than landing safely) was finishing a book by an author I've never read before: Colin Cotterill. The book is The Coroner's Lunch, the first in his Dr. Siri series. I fell in love with the setting, the plot, the characters, the humanity and the humor. Lara got it for me at the Fremont Bookstore. She told them what I like in a book and this is one they suggested. Bullseye.
So if you like really good writing and a great story, go right out and get this book.
