Mark's Chowder

Mark just made an amazing chowder...see their sweet fine day site for pictures and recipe, August 9, 2008:


It was so so good, and seeing the picture brings it right back. Jenna's photo of it captures the chock-full-ness of it. Mmmm.

Mark is also making his signature birthday cake for Lara. They'll be celebrating it tomorrow in Seattle but I think I'll stay home. I think I need to slow down! Anyway, I did get to taste the filling....it's thick and light at the same time...not too sweet, but a perfect perfect caramel-y dulce de leche makes it taste like a bite of heaven. I don't even need a piece of the cake now...the filling is good enough!


I still don't have my new hard drive figured out but did get a new memory card for the camera. Geez....I can't keep up with my own tail it seems like. Anyway, I will get more pictures and soon get them on the blog. Wait'll you see the Amazing Brooklyn Munchkins!
